Book Review: Vampire Most Wanted by Linsay Sands

I had high hopes for this novel. Anything Vampire strikes my interest because of my love of mystical and magical creators. Now, I will admit this novel stems from a large book series known as the Argeneau Series from this author, so I did not read this series from the very beginning. However, I was not impressed with the ending of this book. First off, the beginning did drag on a bit, and when it was time to get into the sexy parts of the novel, the author was not as graphic as I hoped. Lets be real, people reading this book arent any younger than 18 years old. So why PG-13 the good parts? Especially when you have on the cover a half naked man feeling up a pretty woman. Thought it would have been a little more steamy that what it actually turned out to be.

The story line was interesting, Basha the main character is on the run from her family because she thinks that they are hunting her to kill her, but what she doesn’t know is that Basha was being brain washed to believe that. The author did keep the reader wanting to know what happens to Basha, and there were a couple of twists to the story line. However, the ending didn’t really answer many questions. The ending did not tell me if the bad guys ever got caught and persecuted. Which was disappointing. All this time through out the novel the anticipation was these bad guys physically getting a hold of Basha, but when the time came for Basha and her boyfriend to fight back, it just ended. No explanation, no detail. Just straight out walking off the side of a cliff (not literally), with no questions answered.

I honestly felt like I wasted my time reading this book. The story line just didn’t seem complete by the end, total disappointment for me. Not too sure if I will read another of Linsay Sands books, based on how this one turned out. Thumbs down for me. If you read this book and you enjoyed it, all the power to ya!
